Blue Devil Sketch

A gentleman named Derek who said he owns over 100 convention sketches of the DC Comics character Blue Devil commissioned me to add to that collection at Boston Con '14. After some extensive Wikipedia and Google Image Search research, I cranked out the pencils for this sketch at JoelLolar's house after the show on Saturday night, then inked and delivered it during the show on Sunday. That random black background element was a last minute addition, but I really think it ties the piece together. Of all of the drawings that I did at the show over the weekend, this is the one I'm happiest with.
