Here's a sneak peek at an interior page from Man-Gull #1. I'm not planning to post too many pieces from the actual book, but this one was just begging to see the light of day.
What we have here is the 3rd page of issue 1, which serves as the title page. Going along with the whole B horror movie approach that I'm leaning toward with the entire book, I wanted this, the final page of the opening scene, to resemble the title screen from a cheesy 80's creature feature. The scream queen stumbles upon a mutilated body and earns her nickname; freeze frame; drop in title and kick in the generic rock music of the day. I haven't decided yet whether or not I want to actually put in a word balloon with her scream or just let the image do the talking.
