Well, here it is. The cover of Man-Gull #2. It’s really happening, people!
I struggled with the design of this cover for quite a while before finally randomly hitting on a layout that I liked one day as I ran a cash register at one of my jobs. I took inspiration from a few different places and tied the whole thing together with that circular design. I broke out my compass with it’s extending arm and everything.
After handing off the inks to Jesse with a few vague suggestions, he struck on the orange/yellow color scheme on his own which trumped everything I’d been toying with. There was a good bit of noodling done at my behest around the 95% completion mark, but with relatively few headaches we ended up with what I feel is another fairly strong Man-Gull cover. Now I just have to come up with a back cover to go with it and jam a whole bunch of other pages between them.
